15. How to make impact with your appearance
Being perceived as credible for what you do, gives you an enormous head jump in making your impact. In the first contact a lot of that credibility is created by the first impression, and that has a lot to do with your appearance: how you look, your smile, your posture, but also the cloths that you wear, your hairstyle, even the bag that you carry with you and the pencil you write with.
In this podcast episode we, Véronique Hoex and I, zoom in on those elements.
Véronique talks about various ways of how to fit in and stand out at the same time. Fitting in makes it easier to connect, standing out gives you the impact that you need to reach your goals easier.

11. The non-verbal side of communication
Together with Sofie-Ann Bracke I discuss the non-verbal side of communication. We talk about the importance of being able to really feel what is happening inside your body, because that is what is expressed by your body language. Your body language is the first form of communication with everybody you meet, and if that non-verbal communication immediately creates an environment of safety and feeling at ease, then everything else will go much easier and smoother. So being aware of the non-verbal side of communication can multiply your effectiveness!

In this episode I share the insights that came out of those interviews. I talk about 4 points of attention to upgrade your ambition and improve your process on how to get there, and 4 point to downgrade the roadblocks you might experience while realising your ambition.
